ABOUT US
We Protect Our Mother Earth
We believe that Mother Earth is our home and she has given us all that we have. Without her, we wouldn’t possibly exist. It nurtures us, protects us, and gives us beautiful landscapes to adore. Hence, it is our responsibility to protect her before it’s too late.
WE 4 O2 is a non-profit organization that was started as an initiative to preserve the beautiful gift of nature. It aims to work with all generations collectively for a sustainable today and a beautiful tomorrow.
The organization works to create awareness among people about the importance of trees for the sustainable future of humankind. It organizes plantation drives from time to time to make our planet clean and green. WE 4 O2 has actively supported the Plastic Recycle Drive organized by Mr. Waghmare to take #GoGreenInitiative a step forward.
The NGO is actively working for the betterment of underprovided kids by organizing career guidance workshops and evening schools for them. It has also worked towards women’s empowerment by organizing Financial Management workshop for women.

- To provide education that prepares students for leadership and social responsibility by teaching them to think and communicate effectively and develop global awareness and sensitivity for better global understanding.
- To support the organizing of conferences, seminars, meetings, discussions, debates, study courses, collection of statistics, exhibitions, shows, and tours centered around environmental awareness, education, and natural resource conservation.
- To introduce environmental education programs in different schools, colleges/institutions, and universities and strengthen the existing ecological and environment-related training infrastructure.
- To make the earth a better place for every human being regardless of social status promoting environmental health, women empowerment, education for all, and improving the social and political conditions of society on a broad scale.

Our Trustees
Madhav Ahire
Retired Police Commissioner Madhav Ahire, served in the police force for 35 years. In his 35 years of public service, he addressed people's issues, ensured justice to those in need, and found satisfaction in his work. After retiring, he established the 'WE 4 O2 Foundation' for ongoing social service. With his dedication, 'WE 4 O2 Foundation' have completed numerous successful projects and continue to serve with dedication.
Manjusha Desai
She believes that if you want to achieve something in life with a selfless motive and pure heart, just work hard for it and the entire universe manifest it for you. It was this belief that led he to find WE 4 O2 with the objective to do nobel work and paying back to society by doing the needful. While pursuing her career in Psychology and Philosophy, she had no clue about how to bring positive changes in our society. However, she always had the urge to see safe, better, and beautiful tomorrow because of her father who was an honest and reputed police officer and imparted his ethical teachings in her life. While handling successful event management and catering business for years, she was in search of her ultimate goal in life. Soon enough, she got the interest and support of like-minded people which led to the foundation of WE 4 O2.

A corporate professional with more than 23 years of experience, Amit is currently CEO of CHP LLP. Regardless of his busy life, he never forgets to contribute his bit towards protecting nature and bringing positive change in society. He believes that it is only right to pay back to mother earth who has nurtured and protected us and to the society who has helped us reach where we are today.

Darshana Gambhir
From the inception of WE 4 O2 FOUNDATION, she has been an integral part, actively contributing to its establishment. As a dedicated businesswoman with a passion for humanitarian, environmental, and animal causes, she has demonstrated her commitment despite her demanding schedule. Her involvement and contributions to various initiatives such as Annadaan, Island Beautification, the Baalant Vidaa Program at BMC Hospital, and the Mahad flood relief camp reflect her admirable dedication to these noble causes. We extend our heartfelt appreciation and welcome her continued involvement with great enthusiasm.
Mukul Bandivadekar
He is a dependable friend with a genuinely helpful disposition. His work in the professional landscaping business stands as a testament to his enduring commitment. As an active contributor to the vision-setting process of WE 4 O2 FOUNDATION, he has played a vital role in shaping its direction. Born & raised in the US, Akhil shares strong connection with Mumbai. He decided to become an overseas member of WE 4 O₂ foundation due to his concerns for societal problems in Mumbai like pollution, poverty, use of plastic, abuse of environment, etc. He is an active member helping organization on technical front like creating informative presentations, enhancing online presence, creating stickers for messages.

Mr. Matkar has completed his education with a B.Com degree and have been working as a Junior Inspector in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation since 1995. He has a strong passion for social service and am currently actively engaged in activities with the WE 4 O2 organization. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he provided continuous service to the Municipal Corporation and earned respect as a COVID warrior. Working with WE4O2 brings him immense joy through social service, and he is committed to continuing this meaningful work in the future.
